Big journey ahead!

Starting out our journey with our family run company, with our roots in the structural steel industry, we have over the years evolved and built our knowledge base and skill set to incorporate the contracting services we now offer and in conjunction with our sister company KJ Fabrications Ltd we can offer the client an entire service from design and planning to completion.

We take great pride in each individual project we undertake no matter the size of the project, each contract is given 100% of our time and attention from start to finish and because of the services we provide in house and the approved list of sub contractors we work with such as, Electricians and Joinery contractors we ensure to provide the most cost effective and Eco friendly solutions to each project. Being that we are a Eco Aware company using sustainable and recycled materials where possible and using suppliers with the same ethos we have is extremely important to us.

We will always offer a quality assured project and  with our personal 20 year guarantee and our affiliation with FMB and Chas to give the client the assurance of our skills and quality of the services we provide and offering appropriate and extensive training for all staff members to give our clients peace of mind.

We work within the commercial, domestic, retail and Leisure sectors working nation wide but predominantly in Yorkshire, We vehemently believe that each project no matter the size is important to start right, stay right and end right and that's why all of our products and services are built to last!

Roots within Steel...

KJ Fabrications Ltd was formed in 2010 branching out from our parents fabrication company where we learned the traditional forms of Fabrication. 

Moving on with the times and realising that waste and the margins for error had impacts to cost effectivity and the environment so decided to incorporate 3D computer design to streamline time required on site as all steel work can be fabricated from a pre approved cut list off site knowing that all amendments can be worked out at the design stage leading to faster completion time frames and keeping waste to a minimum as ordering can all be taken from the 3D design leading to faster cleaner more cost effective service to the client. 

As our knowledge in design grew and working with other contractors on site we could see potential pit falls working with many contractors and wanted to bring a complete in house service list so that we could offer the clients these services and benefits.

One thing leads to another.......

As we offered this full service to our clients we were involved with more general building work entwined with the Fabrication side for our existing clients such as building extensions from the foundations up, refurbishments, ground works etc and we began to undertake all manners of contracting services as our clients knew our standards of quality. 

we were then approached by our first domestic clients to undertake our first design and build project and so we began our journey, liaising with building control, planning and other trusted trades gave us the experience and knowledge base we needed to fully manage each project and to confidently take on more complex projects moving forward. 

We also began to procure the equipment needed for tasks undertaken meaning that we could increase the services we offered further, we realised our passion for creating a cost effective service that would also offer a top quality finish and guarantee was our main driving force so we began to implement the same ethos across the board. 

As we took on each contract we learned and trained in each discipline and because of our background in design and engineering it gave us an inside knowledge that we could offer back to our fantastic clients. 

More services, more happy clients.....

We fully understood the assignment and continuing with our main commercial and leisure clients we began to branch out and that's when a trusted client asked us to demolish a condemned on site structure and we were more than happy to oblige that is when we realised we needed to create a company that the client could easily access with out confusion as many clients didn't realise all of the services we provide under the name of fabrication. 

That brings us to today incorporating many aspects of the building trades to enable us to completely undertake full projects to ensure our ethos is fully realised on each task and our knowledge, experience, training and extensive equipment list gives the client the assurance they need as so many clients fall foul of sub par companies not interested in the same ideals we hold dear. 

Along the way we have communicated with like minded local trades that we have worked with extensively over the years such as Electrical, joinery, plumbing and waste management contractors to ensure your project will start right, stay right and end right and all products and services provided are built to last!
